Our beautiful holiday home, which was completely renovated in 2022, is completely at ground level. It is 75sqm in size, cosy and comfortably furnished and offers everything you need. The flat has 2 separate bedrooms, each with a double bed, and is well suited for 4 people. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped and is in open connection with the cosy living room with fireplace. There is a bathroom with ground-level shower, a washing machine, a dryer. The flat has Wi-Fi and a smart TV. There are also various board games and books available. It is a non-smoking flat. If you want to escape from everyday life and are looking for peace and quiet, this is the right place for you!

Description

Our cosy holiday home is situated on a spacious plot of land, where our own house is also located.  Here you can hear the babbling of the small river Wappach or look out at the trees and mountains. You can simply enjoy the peace and quiet. With the guest card, most buses and trains in the Berchtesgadener Land are free of charge. You can also travel to Salzburg free of charge with the BRB train or the Postbus.

Environment description

Our house is located in Bayerisch Gmain, a small, quiet village with a good location. From here you can go on numerous hikes and bike tours of varying length and duration. The Bayerisch Gmain train station, a bus stop, a children's playground, the hiking centre and a supermarket are all within 5 minutes' walking distance. Nearby excursion destinations such as the Alpine town of Bad Reichenhall, Berchtesgaden, the Mozart city of Salzburg, Lake Chiemsee, Lake Königssee are no problem from here.

About the host

We completely renovated and furnished the holiday home in 2022. Afterwards, we, a family with 3 children, lived in it ourselves for a few months and experienced how beautiful it is!

Arrival Description

Coming from Munich on the A8, take exit 115 - Bad Reichenhall. At the roundabout, take the first exit towards Bad Reichenhall and follow the B20. In Bad Reichenhall, continue in the direction of Berchtesgaden.  Approx. 1.3 km after the town sign Bayerisch Gmain, turn right into Lattenbergstraße.  Then turn immediately right into Wappachstraße. The destination is on the left-hand side. Arrival by train: Destination station is Bayerisch Gmain. The station is 6 minutes or 450 metres from our accommodation. Arrival by plane: Salzburg airport is approx. 15 minutes or 13 km away from our flat.
