Description

Our newly designed holiday flat awaits you in the middle of Sachrang in a quiet location by the beautiful May tree. The unobstructed view of our local mountain, the Spitzstein, inspired the name "Spitzsteinblick". Bread roll service in the village shop with full assortment, also regional as well as organic products, newspapers, post offices and small cafe (50 m). On request we can fill your fridge with regional products. Restaurants with Upper Bavarian and international menus (50 m), bus stop with free guest bus to Lake Chiemsee (100 m), Tourist Info 200 m, ski lift 600 m, Kampenwand valley station 10 km, human doctors, veterinarian and pharmacies in Aschau, railway station 11 km. Guided mountain hikes, via ferratas, glacier tours and geocaching with the host are available on request.

Environment description

Right on your doorstep, adventurous hiking trails lead through the nature reserve over inviting bread huts to the surrounding Chiemgau mountains as well as to the Zahmen and Wilder Kaiser. Excursions entice you to the nearby wildlife park, to swimming and the summer toboggan run at Walchsee, to enjoy cycling around Lake Chiemsee or on sporty mountain bike trails. Golfers will find attractive courses with big names in the surrounding area, also for beginners. The "Bavarian Sea", Lake Chiemsee, Kufstein, Kitzbühel, Salzburg and countless museums, churches and castles offer cultural and unforgettable impressions. In winter, the cross-country ski runs start at the Gartentor, toboggan runs and ski school with lifts can be reached in a few minutes, night skiing in the neighbouring village.

Children in parents' bed free of charge. Sledges, bicycles/e-bikes, skis and GPS can be rented. Dogs allowed, please phone your host in advance. For internet bookings, if the price is not listed separately and added to the booking confirmation, the surcharge per dog must be paid on site.

tourism tax / plus tourism tax
The prices are exclusive of tourism tax of 2,00 € per person/night. For persons from the 7th to the completion of the 16th year of life 1,80 €. Children up to the age of 6 years are exempt from local tax. You pay the local tax at your host.

Arrival Description

You will find us directly in the centre of Sachrang - right by the maypole. You can get to Sachrang via the A 8 motorway towards Salzburg, exit Frasdorf. From there, head towards Aschau and continue to Sachrang. By public transport you can reach the village by train on the route Munich - Salzburg. Please take the Chiemgaubahn from Prien am Chiemsee station to Aschau, from there take the bus to Sachrang. We can pick you up from Aschau station on request.
